Carlos Miguel's Mexican Bar & Grill

The service was pretty good and the house margaritas were exquisite. That said, the food was underwhelming and sometimes gross. I ordered the Mexican Bowl. The only flavor in it was the white sauce which was very tasty, and there was not enough of that. As for the delicious ribeye cuts that were supposed to come in the bowl, more like GLOBS of fat with a little meat attached. GLOBS and GLOBS and GLOBS of chewy, white fat pieces. It was extremely nasty to even look at, stringy white GLOBS. I couldn't eat most it. Clearly, they don't trim their meat. Yuck. No one else on our party of seven thought their meal was good enough to return. Too bad, I had high hopes for this place. Also, there was no soap on the bathroom. Which is a blatant health code violation and extremely disturbing that their female (and maybe male) employees were unable to wash their hands. Yuck. And yes, I mentioned this to employees and waited around for them to bring some but no. I had hand sanitizer and hot water at least. But yuck. Yuck. Yuck.
