Carter Knolls Campground

Really nice visit. Scenic and peaceful with easy access in and out.

Nice but what you need to know is that it's VERY WINDY. This means that tent campers need extra rope and good stakes to make sure their tent stays upright. There are no trees to secure things to do the good stakes are a MUST. Cooking with a propane burner is very difficult in these conditions. The campground is clean, people are friendly and the bathroom is clean. So although a difficult stay it wasn't all bad. Beautiful view!
