Clyde's Auto Body committed to fixing my car, then after 4-5 weeks told me they were "no longer interested" / "didn't have time" to perform my repair.
Given its my primary driver (which I've had to drive with busted mirrors/ broken windshield / missing fender / etc for the past month +) I now have to try to get on another body shops waiting list and continue driving it in that condition until they can now repair it.
That's a reprehensible business practice to commit to performing the work and then weeks later simply cancel the work. Add to that the body shop didn't even make the effort to contact me to make me aware, I had to call repeatedly before I was told the news (and it wasn't even the owner, but one of his employees). No apologies or attempt to make it right. Shameful.
