When Dr. Joseph Brooks left the practice a few years ago, I was informed that he moved to Florida. Yet another story the staff related to me was that the whole office just up and quit with no notice and didn't know where he was. I had great pain relief success with Dr. Brooks and recently disovered through a friend that he is still practicing in Colorado Springs! I consider it extremely bad form to outright LIE to a patient also known as the customer. One could say the LIE was told to keep me as a patient. Further, all they seemed to want to do was give me a urinalysis on every visit. I wonder how much money they made from doing these? However, understanding that Dr. Brooks left the practice as did Dr. Howard after about a year or so, one can reasonably assume that corprorate business practices must have been intolerable since both Dr's quit within a very short time. If you view Colorado Springs Pain Relief Center website you will note that they still have not hired a Dr. It was November when I last saw Dr. Howard. Again, one can surmise that the corporate business practices are slowly becoming known to the community such that they cannot hire a doctor. As a military veteran who was injured while serving, I require some continuity of care that this practice cannot provide. As I just saw Dr. Brooks this morning I have returned to that continuity of care I require. Further, I will lodge a complain this week to Tricare about this unethical behavor so that other Veterans do not experience this. If they are willing to LIE to keep a patient, one wonders what other unethical practices they will do to keep a patient. Please take my advice and go elsewhere.
