Dark Horse Veterinary Service

There are not enough words to express how grateful my husband and I are to have found a vet like Dr. Hoke. We had been visiting another local vet who continuously charged us outrageous prices for our cats and dogs for routine check in’s, over $120 per visit. We did not realize how extreme this was until we called Dr. Hoke to come out and check on our flock of sheep. We started talking and realized it was a necessity for all of our animals to become a part of the Dark Horse family. She is efficient and real, never overinflating services or talking you into something unnecessary. When we struggled keeping weight on our brooding sheep, Dr. Hoke built a personalized plan for us to continue healthy weight progression and even vouched for us when questions were raised by others regarding the health of our flock. Yesterday, our dog got scratched at a daycare that also has a vet clinic attached. Their clinic confirmed it would cost over $600 to suture him up, but when we called Dark Horse, we were able to see them the next morning for a visit that cost $66 total, including a full exam and dewormer. Courtney is also a pleasure to work with, always getting back to us first thing and following up when needed. The pair make an awesome duo that you just don’t see very often anymore.
