I am a mechanic but I lack the time to work on my own vehicles. I came across this little Shop by accident, it was hidden behind an Autozone store and a car wash off of Horsetooth, West of College Ave.
To be quite honest, I have NEVER seen an automobile repair facility that actually cares about the working stiff.
Del, is very respectful to everyone I've ever seen walk into his shop while I've been there.
He listens carefully to your vehicle concerns, and helps troubleshoot the problem.
Then he will give you an estimate based on the actual cost of parts and minimal amount of labor.
That way (in most cases) you know what the job will cost "BEFORE" you get the bill.
If additional problems arise during repairs, he will let you know what they are first, before any additional work is charged to you.
Unlike most Auto repair shops these days who look at you like it's payday.
I have been ripped off in the past by so called "Fair" and "POPULAR" shops around the city, but I will continue to let Del's Auto Repair work on anything else that I can't fix myself.
