I've become a regular customer and visit the location just about every weekend at least once for my weekly bagel fix. The place is almost always jamming busy and that does lead to the standard issues of a busy restaurant, I don't always get the bagels I want and have some wait time. Sooooooo why am I giving 5 stars then right? It's all about the service for me, the place is busy but they crank out the line as quick as possible, are always smiling while personalizing the service and they are always replenishing bagels as quick as they can. Their back of house operations are on point and use just about all resources all the time to keep up.
Bagels, I give a 4 of 5 stars to be honest but the managers really make a difference in the overall experience. Bruce, one of the managers, is always on point and I actually look forward to seeing him on the line as I know things are moving quickly and efficiently. He probably doesn't even know who I am by name or that I'm writing this but wanted to give him a shout. I wish I got the name of another guy that was working this past Sunday, taller guy that just was just holding down the fort during a mad rush.
Anyhow, it's a busy bagel shop with great service. Can't fault them for being so damn popular.....if you do then don't just whine about it, take the bull by the horns and fill in this void of competition with your own shop and spread out the demand. Or maybe running a high volume bagel shop is just a really tough gig during morning rushes and we should focus on the great service at a busy location while smashing a 6 cheese bagel with a smile.
