The hike to Forsythe Falls is fairly easy, especially going out. You will basically follow the stream on a gradual downhill. The hike back is then, of course, a gradual uphill. It is still fairly easy, but the altitude will get to some folks. The best thing about this hike is it is, it isn't crowded. There were perhaps 8 cars in the parking lot. So it makes for a nice, quiet hike. On the downside, the falls aren't all that impressive, and it takes some work, scrambling over boulders and such, to get a good view of them. For younger and older hikers, this can be a bit treacherous.
