Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs

Customer service - poor. 1/5 stars. Mother in law from out of town was paying for the room, but we checked in before her as her flight got in very late. She called that morning to make sure her card was on file when we checked in so we wouldn’t have to put your card, the lady said it was fine over the phone, but when we got there a different lady said we couldn’t do that and had to put our card. We did, but she said once MIL got in town they would switch her card over. Well they charged us for in hotel purchases and they refuse to refund us even though it is 100% their fault. Also acted like it was a huge burden any time we asked for advice or recommendations, the girl that was at the front desk had a horrible, sarcastic attitude and tone of voice. Called and asked for more pillows, forgot about us the first time, called back and assured they would bring them up, called back later and said they were out of pillows in the whole hotel so we said forget it. The hotel itself was great, clean and spacious rooms, housekeeping did a great job every day. A great and central location in Denver, close to entertainment and lots of restaurants. Free parking garage as well.

the room is large and clean, the breakfast was very good, the staff are very friendly. It gets marked down because when you look out of our window you get a great view of the satellite dish on the flat roof directly outside the window and nothing else.
