I will never let a loved one step foot in this place again. They do NOT take care of the patients that a vulnerable, and can't speak for themselves. They do NOT check on their patients like they should. When we thought we could count on medical people we were wrong. In my heart I believe they contributed to my father's passing.
The staff were very friendly and after being in hospitals for 2 months my daughter mentioned to the Doctor that I really wanted to see the sun I hadn't been outside in 3 months the Doctor found a wheelchair had the nurses and RT get me ready and took me outside I'm sure Doctors don't normally do this it was great. I would highly recommend this place
All of my concerns were listened to and addressed in a timely manner. What I think is phenomenal is the teamwork that is displayed between the nurses and the CNA's. Those staff members really put the work kind in Kindred. Extra kudos to Deb, she is a nurse extraordinaire. Honestly all the CNA's who cared for my brother too, they were caring and compassionate. My brother felt like he was truly at home while he was here. A very special thanks to Terry the speech therapist. She was patient, knowledgeable and did a wonderful just educating the patient and family.
