Brought in some of my pre-1965 silver coin with a number in mind. The owner made me sit at the counter and count out the entire face value of the bag I brought and told me he would pay 8 times the face value. Any place trying to buy not based on weight is usually a rip off but I wanted to check what % of spot he was paying.. 65?! I checked around and was able to get 85% from another shop.
