Rose Street Bed & Breakfast

This week my friend and I had the honor of being the first guests at the recently reopened Rose Street B&B. We were warmly welcomed by the new owners. The house, an 1882 building, is decorated to bring the charm of the old with the function of modern amenities. We enjoyed sitting and reading in the library and the parlor in front of the fireplace. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was really delicious each morning. The third sitting room has comfortable chairs and a TV for enjoyment. From the foyer through each room, we felt warmth and welcoming; by the way, the settees are deceptively comfortable. The B&B IS within walking distance of good restaurants and charming shops where we were treated with respect and kindness. I felt at home and at peace there. I can't wait to return.
