Safeway's gas was a pretty good buy until mid-2013. Then, the quality started going down. Got good gas mileage from regular, and from the so-called premium gas. Then, mileage started taking a nose dive. They have cheapened their gas to the point that I only go to Safeway gas stations if I am nearly out and can go no farther. Then, I only put in enough to get to a better gas station!
