My husband fell hiking. He waited 1 hour for someone to agknowledge him! They x - rayed his leg/ankle and confirmed it was broken. Then had him walking on it. They put him in a boot, and, sent him on his way with the name of an orthopedic surgeon and told him to make an appointment within ten days. When he saw the orthopedic surgeon, he looked at the boot and said "well I didn't know these were still made this is the wrong boot for your injury." Then the surgeon asked my husband why he had been walking on his broken leg/ ankle? My husband said he was not instructed to stay off it. My husband was put in a cast and told not to put any weight on it for 10 weeks by the orthopedic surgeon.
9 months after my husband's visit, we started receiving calls and letters from a collection agency. They had been sending the bills to the wrong address because, the person at the front desk who took my husbands information, wrote down the numbers of our address down twice.
