Village Square East Barbers

To start with, this place is horrible. The barber in his 50s smelled like alcohol. He made couple of cuts and did not bother to apologize. He just walked out several times to attend his personal things while I was sitting there half way through my hair cut. He did not change the blade while shaving my side burns. At the end, when I paid $20, he just kept the change for himself and did not bother if I wanted to tip him. The whole shop looked messy and unhygienic. I am not going to that place again. If you care about health, hygiene and safety, don't ever think of going there. If anyone knows the procedure to file a complaint with OSHA, please do so.

I've tried a few barbershops since moving to Denver, and many have been a bust. After having the same barber for over a decade, I thought the search was useless. Then I tried this place out. It's a real deal shop! Not fancy, no frills, just good conversation and a good cut for cheap. They even do a straight razor shave with every cut, all for less than $20! You can't go to a crappy chain for that cheap. They can never replace my old barber, but I'll happily continue going in!
