Windmill Apartments

My husband and I moved here a few months ago and this is such a great complex. The 1x1's are small, but do-able and are just enough space for two people. We live on the bottom level and it's kept the apartment nice and cool, which will be nice since the only AC is in the bedroom. There is very low natural lighting so if that's something that's important to you, then this might not be the right place. The updated models are so easy to keep clean with the laminate flooring. We have been told whenever someone comes over how much they love them, and how real it looks. The kitchen has little countertop space, but again, if you're crafty you can definitely make it work. The management has always been super nice and helpful. Any time you get a package that will not fit in your mail slot they hold it, and they usually will call you to let you know right away. There is a noise curfew and there have never been any noise issues that we have had after then. There is an annoying barking dog that barks all day long and that's kind of annoying but other than that, there really aren't any noise problems here. There are lots of kids that play in the park during the day and that's something to think about if you're choosing a unit that is near those. The gym is always clean and usually empty. Maintenance has always been on top of things, and are usually out the day you report a problem or the day after. All in all this is a pretty great apartment complex to live in, the people generally keep to themselves, and the management will actually help you. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for a place to live, particularly an apartment complex. It feels more like townhomes than it does apartments to us. Also if you can, talk to Alyssa, in our opinion she is the best person in management by far. She has always been very polite and kind, as well as professional. Update on 03/29/18: I wanted to update this to say that we are now in our second lease and will more than likely be staying in it long term. Our management office is so great and they are working so hard to improve the property. There are so many new changes that are happening that will make our lives as residents much easier. We look forward to seeing what you will bring us and how things will change. We love our unit and still have nothing but good things to say about this property and the management running it! We always recommend the Windmill to anyone looking for apartments in this area.
