Rocky Vista Health Center

I recently scheduled an appointment with a doctor at Rocky Vista. Over the weekend I realized that I hadn't stated why I needed to see a doctor, so I called back to ensure they knew what type of doctor I required. I informed the appointments administrator that I needed to see a sports medicine specialist in order to help resolve an injury. I was told, "We don't do Sports Medicine. We only do primary care here." I asked her if she had seen her clinic's website where Sports Medicine was one of the four listed services. I pointed out that a substantial amount of space had been dedicated to all of the Sports Medicine services performed. She said that she wasn't aware of that, but that I could still see a PCP and that person could write me a prescription for seeing one of their other specialists if that was necessary. This is the second time that I've attempted to use Rocky Vista Health Center to assist me in recovering from an injury. In both cases, and for similar reasons, they have been unable or unwilling to provide the requested services or advice. In both cases they said they didn't provide the services requested, even though it was listed on their web page as a service they perform. Although the clinic is very convenient to me, it appears that I will no longer be their customer as physical convenience does not outweigh the ability or willingness to perform.
